I had a great time on the night cruise on the Danube last night. Budapest, beautiful by day, was absolutely stunning at night. The most incredible thing (you can sort of see this in the second-to-last photo) is that, on the way back, a flock of birds was circling around Parliament, and the lights made the birds glow. From a distance, they looked more like some sort of lantern – they looked magical. What a great way to end my time in Budapest!
