When you realize that an 8 mile motorbike home from work is way better and way cheaper than a therapy session after a long and hard day at the office.
Git Good!
I keep telling myself that someday I will be a grown-up motorbiker and EVERYTHING will always be easy. I hope that happens sooner rather than later 🙂
The February Fakeout Is Over
Finally (at least it feels that way) got to ride to work again after a little over a week of winter thanks to Portland’s February Fakeout. So much nicer and more fun than grabbing a car. Taking that much time off from the moto never fails to make me feel a little like a newbie […]
Why You Shouldn’t Feel Bad About Taking Up An Entire | RideApart
Why You Shouldn’t Feel Bad About Taking Up An Entire | RideApart In my ‘hood, there are a very few businesses that have generously converted a handful of their parking spots into motorbike spots. 2018 Starting Mileage
Only did a measly 5,333 miles  on my F800GT in 2017. It was almost all commuting, since we only took one trip to Hood River this past summer. Hopefully 2018 brings more riding!

Mileage Maniacs 2017
This year, I’m doing my first-ever mileage contest.  I suspect I will be pretty competitive for last place, but that’s cool.  I’m doing the MotoTourer’s Mileage Mania (http://www.mototourers.com/weblog/2017-mileage-mania/).  Already 34 miles in, and a long way to go until the contest wraps in mid November.
My F 800 GT Is One!
Happy first birthday to my F800GT!  One year ago today, it rolled off the assembly line in Berlin, not knowing it would soon be shipped to Portland and BMW Motorcycles of Western Oregon, where it would wait patiently on the showroom floor until I bought it in August. We’ve now shared nearly 1,900 miles including […]
