Why You Shouldn’t Feel Bad About Taking Up An Entire | RideApart

In my ‘hood, there are a very few businesses that have generously converted a handful of their parking spots into motorbike spots. Yay! Unfortunately, there’s an inordinate number of car drivers that either through ignorance or asshattery park in those spots. I’ve tried to park in those spots only to find cars in them, so I park in a car spot, and more than once, I’ve been chastised by car drivers. I’d *rather* park in designated bike parking whenever it’s available – it shows the public that yes, motorbikes are commonly used for grocery trips, not just for fun. Even though I’d rather park in motorbike spots, I don’t feel even slightly bad when I’m forced to park in a car spot.
